I'm inviting any and all 501st from Carolina Garrison to come to Nashville on Saturday December 3rd for the Nashville Christmas Parade. We can have a maximum of 30 troopers total. If you are interested, let me know.

We will a marching group with no parade float or vehicle (this time). This means that there won't be a backup vehicle for someone to retreat to if they have a problem. However, most everyone seems to be able to handle parades just fine.

PARADE ROUTE

The route is roughly one mile, starting at 12th and goes down Broadway, up 2nd and then ends at the west end of the Woodland Street Bridge.
The bridge is going to be closed during the parade, so hopefully we can walk across it and get to the parking lots on the other side.

PARKING
The parade ends near the football stadium where there is plenty of space for parking. So we should meet and park near there.

We are using a shuttle bus from InShuttle. They will ferry us back and forth between the stadium and the parade staging area downtown.

Ideally we will change at the stadium and then ride over. However, if you need to change at the parade staging ground please let me know as we will need a handler to take your bin back to your car.
