Re: Raleigh Supercon Weapons Policy

Con replied, basically just said to check it at the desk and make sure it was zip-tied.

Re: Raleigh Supercon Weapons Policy

That's fairly standard. I emailed the con to double-check.

Raleigh Supercon Weapons Policy

I've been reading over the weapons policy for the convention in two weeks. I'm wondering if they'll allow our obviously fake sci-fi blasters. I'll be bringing Krennic's D-29 pistol and plan to keep it holstered most of the time.

Re: New Member Introduction - Krennic Build

Thanks for the encouragement and suggestions, I'm definitely looking into them. I believe I found matches for his code cylinders and his rank doesn't appear difficult. TraywickDesigns on Etsy has a kit for his blaster that is the best I've seen and she's going to make the device on his belt. https://www.etsy.com/shop/TraywickDesig ... eb04c3f342

New Member Introduction - Krennic Build

Hi, I'm John, brand new to the forums. I'm starting work on a Director Krennic costume in the new year. I have a friend in GA who already has the officer pattern and is quite skilled, so the tunic, trousers, and cape shouldn't be a problem. I also just acquired the Visual Guide which is going to be a big help and trolling the RPF for tutorials on his blaster. Based on what I've found, I should be able to make the blaster myself.

Looking for any good recommendations on belt, buckle, rank, boots, gloves, and code cylinders. I know I can buy the zip up boots that should pass muster, but always on the look out for an affordable better quality boot.

The only thing I'm having difficulty identifying is the cylinder on Krennic's right hip. It's not visible in most photos and where you can see it, his cape is obscuring it. Looks bigger than a comlink, but I don't know. Any suggestions are helpful.

Thanks in advance for any advice and for having me here.
