A bit of an odd question, but does anyone have some good tips for making the inside of your bucket smell better?

Re: Imperial Combat Assault Tank Commander build thread
The helmet finally arrived in the mail. It's a fiberglass and ABS mix from BSP,the same vendor as my armor.

The quality is very high and has the most accurate details I've seen on a Combat Assault Tank driver bucket. I'm super excited to get it and expect some more updates soon. I'll post more images of it if requested.

Re: Weathering
No problem,I caught a glimpse of it on the mission reports and it looks good. Though some close ups wouldn't hurt.Captain jack wrote:Ok sorry I am having all kinds of issues with photobucket. I got one to post will post more when it decides to work.

Re: Weathering
You said you had a photo example, and then I didn't see one and I thought I was missing something. Anyways,if I like the way it looks on your setup,I'll definitely give it a shot. Thanks for the information.Captain jack wrote:In that case you could try your hand a pastel chalk weathering. It works well on painted surfaces. Basically go to a hobby store and buy artist pastel chalk in the color scheme to match. In this case I would think greys and blacks. Next you take a razor and shave the chalk into powder form. From there you basically paint the chalk on with a brush wherever you want. You can control to process better like this and really get the colors you want in the creases and such. Takes a bit to get the hang of it but I love this method. I used it on my Fett and animated clone Tup. Here is a example of it on Tup. Keep in mind for this clone I was going for a animated look.

Re: Aspiring recruit from Asheville,NC
I've been waiting on a few items to be delivered, specifically the bondo which took 8 days to ship amazingly. It should be here soon and work will resume. The Armor party sounds like something I'd be interested in going to and meeting some 501st members,it'd all depend on the time and location though.xapologiesx wrote:How's your build going? We are planning on having an armor party/get together in the Asheville area sometime soon if you're interested in joining.

I had issues deciding what costume I would eventually build for my first. However once Rouge one was released,I made my choice. I'll keep you updated as I get more done. Here's just some pictures I took of me cutting the armor out.

Work has gone well on my Imperial Combat Assault Tank commander armor and if all goes well I'll be done within the month. However there's still 10 months until I'm 18,so it may be some time before I can properly apply.
