Greeted and chilled with people as they entered. Took pics and interacted with both kids and adults. A few others were dressed up in costumes and they really loved us and we took loads of pics with people. After the service, we were back out in the lobby and did the same thing again for a little while. Kids and adults really enjoyed having us as we were really a cool unexpected thing to see on a Sunday morning.

Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can):
We were once again invited to visit the GHS Children's Hospital to help brighten some of the kids lives there, if just for a little while. LIke before, it was a room to room visit where we went in, greeted the kids and talked to them about Star Wars or whatever they wanted to talk about. TR 28780 brought about 15 Star Wars Black Series figures to hand out and the kids receiving them were very happy to get them and very grateful. We visited about 15 rooms ranging from little kids to teenagers. It was a great experience and not only did the kids there get something out of it, but we did too!

Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can): The 501st has been invited to visit The Arts Center Courtyard and Building in Greenwood, SC for a customer appreciation event. Jennifer Shelton Larkins is putting the event on and is a Travel Expert at Adventure Together Travel and Disney Travel Expert at Magical Adventures by Jennifer with Mouseketrips. It will be Star Wars themed to promote Galaxy Edge opening at Disney and Star Wars themed Disney Cruises. There will be face painting, Star Wars Galaxy crafts, snacks and MORE!!

The Uptown Market in Greenwood does a series of first Friday events to sell produce and related goods and this May, the first Friday fell on May the Fourth! So, a special Star Wars Day Edition of First Friday was thought up and they asked some local Stars Wars fans to attend and also, everyone was intived to dress up as their favorite Star Wars character. The 501st represented with 3 members, one Galactic Academy Kylo Ren and we were also joined by some other local fans such as a Darth Vader and an AOTC Padme. A light saber craft was available for the kids, music, and fun was had by all! We mingled and took photos with people and water and pizza was given to us after the event!
