Date:
Dec. 17, 2018

Location:
South Carolina Aquarium
100 Aquarium Wharf
Charleston, SC

Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can):
This event took place at the beautiful SC Aquarium. Located on the historic Charleston Harbor. It is home to more than ten thousand plants and animals including North American river otters, loggerhead sea turtles, alligators, great blue herons, owls, lined seahorses, jellyfish, pufferfish, green moray eels, horseshoe crabs, sea stars, pythons, and sharks. The largest exhibit in the zoo is the Great Ocean Tank, which extends from the first to the third floor of the Aquarium and is the deepest tank in North America (42 feet); it holds more than 385,000 US gallons of water and contains more than seven hundred animals.

The SC Aquarium's "Members Only" holiday event. Over 650 guests were in attendance for a festive, family-friendly evening celebration that included: light refreshments, pictures with Santa, cookie decorating, holiday crafts, face painting, animal encounters and the opportunity to roam the Aquarium during after-hours. Scattered around both levels of the SC Aquarium was (15) local community vendors with interactive booths and/or free giveaways. The Garrison had a large area and a table with 501st info and trading cards. We also gave out lots of candy and Christmas pencils.
