Can we find out how many toys were donated? That's reportable on the charity reports. Let me know before the end of the month.

Getting Started on the Forums
Hi everyone, recently more and more new members have expressed concerns over not being able to post topics on the forum. As such, please follow this guide to become a member of the General Public group, which will allow you to start topics of your own. I have provided direct links to the images in case they get cut off.
Step 1: After logging in, click the User Control Panel link.

Step 4: Scroll to the bottom, make sure "Join Selected" is selected in the drop-down box, and click Submit.

Congratulations! You are now a General Public member and can start new topics. Also if you want to make your name gray to indicate this, repeat steps 1-4, but instead of clicking the Submit button on Step 4, click the Change Default Group button on the left.

Sept 15 - Florence Comic-Con
On September 15th, the Carolina Garrison deployed to the Florence Comic-Con in Florence, SC. This was the first sci-fi / comic convention in Florence, a joint effort by the local Legends Comics store, and Nuklear Comics in Sumter, SC.
The Garrison was very well received by both the convention staff and the attendees. The staff were kind enough to comp our tickets and table for us, and we had a nice ample area towards the back both to set up our display and even execute a Blast-A-Trooper!
At first it didn't look like the BAT wouldn't work out, but in the end it did, which is great because we raised $312 that went to the parents of a child by the name of Owen Plasman, who is battling bone cancer. This will no doubt help his parents with Owen's medical bills.
We've already been invited back next year for an even larger Florence Comic-Con 2014!

Attending:
TB-6559 David Jordan
TI-8560 Brad Lee
TK-5940 Tom Gardner
IC-6560 Mandy Jordan (handler)

Re: 2013-04-13 Troop for Richard Columbia, SC
Had a great time, so glad we can make Richard's short time left here with us something really special for him and his family.
Also had a blast working on the Lego diorama and relaxing with you guys.
Al, when's that get-together Garrison party you mentioned a few months ago?

Re: Future GSO Member Back for More
Have you thought about the Reserve Pilot / Imperial Crewman? The boots for it are a bit easier to find (jackboots as opposed to riding boots) and you actually have two costumes right out the door plus three more you can build to easily: Tie Pilot, Imperial Gunner, and Navy Trooper. I did my RP for about $100.
