"Star Wars: A New Hope" in concert : The North Carolina Symphony: The NCS asked us to once again provide characters for meet and greet photo opportunity before and at intermission for 3 concerts spanning 3 days. This is the first time the NCS has played the entire film soundtrack in front of the film for a SW movie.

Description of Event :
The North Carolina Symphony asked the Carolina Garrison to once again provide a few characters for meet and greet photo opportunity before and at intermission for 3 concerts spanning 2 days. This concert included music from multiple science fiction films and television shows. A display of props and memorabilia were provided by members of the CG and Star Trek costumers attended as well(some also members of the CG). Cheralyn Lambeth gave a short talk before each concert on her work with Star Trek in the entertainment industry and the the affect of Star Trek on many aspects of our lives.


Event Length:
approximately 2 hours for each concert.

Description of Event:
An Imperial presence was requested by the North Carolina Symphony at four events taking place over three days and in two locations. A contingent of troops including commanding officers, guards, stormtroopers, a gunner, and two Lords of the Sith were dispatched to maintain order and repel any attempts at disruption by rebel sympathizers. A rebel princess, a few jedi, and a tusken raider were spotted along with many event attendees in various costumes. It was very clear who we could count on for support and who we needed to keep an eye on.
