Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can): Arkham Comix had there Grand Opening at their Wilson location and we were invited to participate in the days Festivities. This was an Indirect charity event and 10% of all sales during the event time was to be donated to Dukes Children Hospital. A little over $400 was raised. All of us were a huge hit and a little star wars fan decided to share her birthday with us today and got to put on some of her favorite helmets. All in all today was a huge success.

Location: Rocky Mount NC

Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can): The 501st Legion was Invited to help entertain and mingle with the guests on free comic book day. Massive crowd turn out with live music, free pizza and an escape artist magic show. Other cosplay groups were there including the excelsior league and 105th which lead to some crossover battles. Overall an enjoyable day.

Location: Rocky Mount NC


Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can): The 501st Legion, Rebel Legion and Mandalorian Mercs were invited out to Arkham Comix in Rocky mount NC on Saturday January 28th for a special charity event for Dukes Children hospital. 10% of all purchases made that day went straight to Dukes Children.
A raffle of star wars toys and Pops was also available for $10. 100% of the raffle funds went to the charity. This was a fantastic troop especially for this area of NC. Lots of picture taking, fooling around on the arcade machines and mechanical horse outside and smiling kids made it all worth it. Some of is even snuck over the music shop next door for our own version of the Cantina Band. We are welcome back anytime and Arkham Comix looks forward to having us at future events.

Yep that's Matt's (Endor trooper) Daughter Ellie. She really is adorable and has the Sabine Spunk down pat. She walked up to me with my tusken gear on and said, "Don't forget to take your mask of so you can see the movie." lol.

Arkham Comix of Rocky Mount hosted a Star Wars Preview night event at the Carmike Theater in Wilson NC. They gave away free star wars comics and other memorabilia to early movie goers and the 501st/Rebel Legion was Invited for picture taking and fan service.

We arrived around 5pm to suit up and interacted with the various guests and theater staff till around 7:10. Then we quickly suited down to enjoy the premiere at 7:20
Arkham Comics graciously reserved an entire row for us to ensure we had a seat. Was a great night.

Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can):
On Oct 4th the Wilson County WEP held their annual Adult Spelling be at James Hunt High School in Wilson NC. This year's event was Star Wars themed and featured elaborate star wars decorations, and invited all the attendees to come dressed in star wars costumes and clothing.

The 501st and Rebel Legion were invited to to help bring authenticity to the event and mingle with the attendees for both photo ops and participate in team eliminations by poping the tables balloon when they lost. A little over 200 were in Attendance and the leader of the WEP was escorted in as the Emperor by a Stormtrooper and Imperial Officer.

Thanks guys looking forward to it. That's actually my main inspiration for creating the emperor since last I checked, the Carolina Garrison doesn't have one.

Even though I lack the make up, I plan on applying the full prosthetic tonight just to test mobility and speech. Here's a quick teaser of a defective piece I quickly put on just for test fitting.(converted to black and white to see what it would look like blended)
