Date: May 4, 2018
Location: Westview Elementary School
Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can): Star Wars themed dance for elementary students. I made a grand entry onto the dance floor to the Imperial March, at which point the kids went hysterical. Spent time with kids dancing, taking photographs, handing out trading cards, and signing autographs. Would recommend any troop involving Westview Schools in the future as they were very accommodating and appreciative.

Re: What does the 501 think about the Hasbro helmet
Seems like a lot of the feedback on FISD is positive. Like the Kylo version it will more than likely require some modification.

Re: Anyone got a working coupon code for anovos
I am pretty sure they have discontinued the use of 10% discount codes. Instead they post a 10% code during a Star Wars related convention that is only good for the duration of that convention. I would definitely keep an eye out! As far as the shoes are concerned, the majority of their costumes do not include the license for foot apparel. I believe the only one that has shoes included was the FOTK premier kit which has since been discontinued. If you are looking at a TK, TKboots is an excellent option (they fit a bit small) or imperialboots who offers variety outside the TK. Best of luck!

Might as well make a week out of it and do the Dark Side Race the weekend after!

Re: Celebration 2017 Orlando
The Hyatt Regency is closest to the entrance and if I am not mistaken the building closest to the Hyatt is the only one used. Hilton also connects via skywalk but on the opposite side of convention center.

Re: Disney World Star Wars Weekends (Weekend 1 May 15-17)
Yessir! Raised in Moncks Corner and live in Summerville now.
Rebel Hanger was pretty sweet. Its all appetizers but the food was decent and the decor was awesome!
If you have any questions about SWW, must dos and what not, dont hesitate to ask. Gone several times now and have experienced pretty much everything they have to offer including all the packages.
If you are marching you shouldn't have any problem meeting celebs before the parade. Any normal person requires a 3 to 4am camp out at the front gate.

Disney World Star Wars Weekends (Weekend 1 May 15-17)
Just got back from weekend 1 of Star Wars weekends at Walt Disney World and had a blast. Here are a few pics from the weekend. Your brothers from the FL Garrison did a great job like usual representing the Legion!
I am heading back for weekend 4 (June 5-7) if anyone in the Charleston area needs anything from the park. I hear a lot of people are liking the new Disney Parks brand E-11 They are also selling the first officially licensed TFA T-shirt with half proceeds going to a Force for Change. They even sport the new TFA stormtrooper which is icing on the cake! You can see them in a few of the pics below. Let me know!
Enjoy!

Re: enlisting in the 501st
I would wait for a member to respond, but I would assume so. Someone has to be the first through the door and the few right behind that. My guess is it could be approved but if you do not meet the CRL once it updates, you would have to make proper adjustments to remain approved.

Re: Armor build help in Columbia, SC
Dont know what kind of timeline you are looking at or if you are willing to travel an hour and a half to Summerville, but Im in a group of six guys starting builds near end of summer/early fall. We have the tools and at least 3 garages worth of space. Feel free to drop me a PM if you have not found anything by then and dont mind the drive. All six are TK.
