This was our second year supporting the Wake Med Children's hospital at this event. We fielded 17 characters at this event with help from Talon Clan and Blue Ridge Base. The organizers were thrilled and so was the crowd. My daughters made their debut appearances as Jawa and handler; special thanks to all that made it a special event for them. Also special recognition to James Davis at Holly Springs Photography that turned out to get a lot of awesome photos and make them available to us and help guests with their cameras as well.

(NC) April 29 SPCA K9 3K (Cary)
Date:
April 29
Location:
Koka Booth Amphitheater, Cary NC
Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can):
Annual SPCA organized 3K Dog Walk, and Festival. This was our second year participating and the guests were really excited to get their pets into pics with us. This was a Carolina Garrison event, supported by members of Blue Ridge Base and Talon Clan. We had Brandy's parents officially debuting their Mandos with us! Most of the event was mingling and taking photos. It was HOT! We were called upon to position at the start of the walk and send the participants out strong! A highlight was a small dog shooting under the robes of a Tusken Raider and wrapping up his legs Imperial Walker style, only to have Mon Mothma come to his rescue! We hit T Mac for a post troop meal, sight of one of our troops last May 4th.
