I posted on the FB page but I wonder if I could get some guidance from any Sith pros here. I've been working on a Sidious for some time now and I'm closing in.

Robe made per SLD standards
Cane likewise
Boots as per described
Under cloak
Sith contacts
Cloak Clasp
Saber hilt (just in case!)

May I bother you folks for some guidance? I was at OCCC in costume and had a great response but could not locate a SLD rep there to talk with.

Glad to see there's so much Triangular activity here. I'm in Pittsboro, just getting myself familiar with the forums here. Looking forward to an event I can attend to shake a hand or two.

Pittsboro here, and in roughly the same boat: close enough to a costume that I'm here, not close enough that I'm official yet.

Wanted to introduce myself to you folks as a prospective member just short a few details on the costume.

I've spent the last year putting together a Palpatine costume I would be proud to wear in public, and have just capped it with contacts. All I'm lacking is prosthetics, which hopefully won't be too difficult. And before anyone asks, as I mentioned to the command staff, I'm not cosplaying Palpatine to try to be in charge of anything. He's just my favorite character. Also, the only other voice I can do is Watto, which would require more prosthetics than I care to invest in. So assuming I am inducted in the future, please don't get the wrong idea. I saw a Clone Emperor in the member roster, by the way: amazing.

I'm in the triangle area, as mentioned above, in Pittsboro to be specific. Are there many/any members in the area?

I'm hoping to have an application-worthy costume put together before long but in the meantime I am glad to be a part of the community here. Any tips for prosthetics or sources thereof would be welcome. I was a theater dork in college (UNCW) so I'm comfortable using such, but haven't the resources to hand that I did when I had a theater department to pillage.
