Although I wasn't able to attend this one I had the pleasure of helping to arrange for a few of our members to visit a little boy named Joseph in Taylors, SC. Little Joe was diagnosed with Leukemia in Feb. 2012 when he was 7 years old. Little Joe (and the family) are almost halfway completed with the 3.5 years of treatments. The family is ALWAYS looking for ways to keep his spirits high and keep him moving forward. He visits his Oncology Center every week and does his chemo treatments nightly. His mom told me he plays with all of her Star Wars toys from the 80s as well as his very own action figure collection which is always growing. She says that Star Wars really helps bring joy especially to the days that are hard. Here are some pictures that the mother sent me of the day that the Carolina Garrison visited her son. The CG members took pictures with Joseph, brought him some goodies from the Empire and also played some video games with him.
Thank you to the following troopers:
1. Tom Gardner
2. Ken J.
3. David Jordan
4. Chris Gould
5. Alex Smith (Mando Merc guest)

Here are a few pics of some of the gifts that the Empire brought to Joseph to brighten his day.
