Still, the event was fun, and we got to introduce a lot of people to the 501st. Our table was right in the main entryway, so we got a lot of exposure. This is definitely the most white armor at an event I've been a part of. The folks organizing the game incorporated Star Wars into an intro crawl on the big screen and had their dog mascot wearing an Obi-Wan style robe with a light saber out on the ice. Our own Darth Vader, Jerry S., dropped the puck to start the game. Taylor Seay, Tom Gardner and David Cope Jr competed in a dance-off. We had to pack up a little early because this was the first game of the day and we needed to get our stuff out of the area they'd given us to store it before the teams from the second game got there and needed that space.
