St. Patrick's Day Parade 3-15-2014 Charlotte NC

Top of the Morning to ya Imperials! The St. Patrick's Day Parade in Charlotte NC was an epic triumph for the Empire!!!!

The Emperor is most pleased!!



The day was prefect, very nice weather (no rain and just the right temperature)

We were #114 out of 123 groups there marching.

Yes it was an earlier day, most Troopers getting before the sun came up to make this march happen < true heart of the Empire!!!

The huge crowd love seeing us, and we got the word out to a lot of people about all the good that we do in our SW Costumes with all the charity work, and being the go to for Lucas Films/Disney.... From doing this one event, I have a lot of people contacting me now for our info, plus a few News (TV and Internet) and Newspaper crews wanting interviews and articles on us now after see us and talking to me....

We have a lot of pix from this..... Tig shot over 370 pix and kill my camera battery in the first ten minutes of the parade LOL!!!...We did not even get into the heart of the parade where 99% of the crowd was (most shots where at the first)....

We had spectators going nuts and running out into the street to hug and get pix with us!!!! I believe if Lord Vader was asked, What do you think of the Charlotte St Patrick's Day Parade? The Lord of the Sith would say; "impressive, most impressive, the Force is strong with it".


I want to thank all the troopers that made it for the parade!!!!

Special Thanks to the Handlers for making sure we were going in the right direction, cause you know I cannot see a thing out of this helmet !!

Tom, you know that link (and I read the whole article) pretty much says that kilts were not worn in Ireland? About 1/4 of the way down: "Nowhere has good solid evidence been found to support the kilt being worn in Ireland. At the earliest, only since the middle of the 19th century, has it even been suggested that the kilt was worn in Ireland. Irish writers of the time never mention the wearing of the kilt at all."

So, to you guys wearing them, not to me!

Also, this was so much fun. I love being part of these big groups. I think 16 is a new record for me. Just a month and a half ago 14 was my biggest at the Checkers game. Thanks for the opportunity!

Chris you have to come up for Heroes Con with Jason Boyd! (3 Days) Like I said, it will be a mini SW Celebration. I will have back drops, the Trash compactor, Ewoks, and displays etc...and Droid Hunt!!!! Heroes Con is normally huge...I just wanting to amp it more!!

It was awesome to meet everyone at the parade Saturday. You guys and gals are a great group. Made me feel at home. This was a great event for my first troop. Can't wait to troop again. Here are some pics we had from the event.
