Darth Revan number 2?
Hey guys, I'm really excited to join the 501st. I'm currently active duty military in Jacksonville NC. I'm wanting to do Darth Revan. I know a guy that can make the mask. I don't really have the know how to build this on my own. Nor do I have the resources. I would greatly appreciate any help or advice. I plan on getting a single blade red saber from Ultrasabers.

Re: Darth Revan number 2?
Well well,... I just purchased a Revan , the whole kit, robe, boots , tunic, hood and cowl, armor, front and back, gauntlets, gloves with hand plates, balaclava, and mask. Really cool, but one thing... I have three more rigs in line to get built. Now this one is ready to wear with a few minor alterations. I just can't bring myself to skip over my previous projects to make this work. That being said, I might turn it loose, of course if you we're interested and know the secret word.... Otherwise I can steal you towards the website it was purchased from, and you could resource it that way. Let me know. I can send photos.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Is it legion approved? And would you be able to show me how to finish up the rigs? And anything else I would need to do other than fitting. I'm not sure if you mean "please" as the secret word or something Star Wars lol either way I'd be interested in taking it off your hands. Did you want to arrange a meeting so I can look at it? And how much are we looking at (price wise)

Re: Darth Revan number 2?
Well, yes" please " was the magic word. I think I paid about 1200$ it is and was legion approved. You would still need to fit it to your frame. The guy I purchased from was 5'10" 32 inch waist. I am 5'8" or 5'9" in boots, so it's real close for me. I just put the hakama up around my belly button instead of at the waist. The armor covers it and looks and feels good. I think I need to adjust the shoulder straps a bit to accommodate my chest. I think I'm a bit "buffer" than the other dude. Other than that I have a couple photos on my Instagram , JBH66 , I can email the photos or meet you. I am in Kill Devil Hills though.
I would be willing to work out a deal if I could keep the mask. If not that's cool to!

Re: Darth Revan number 2?
my apologies, you mentioned getting in contact with the GMLs.. I just wasn't sure where to go to speak with them.. since I don't have the costume YET I wasn't sure if it would be appropriate to submit a request to join through the main page.

it's all good.
I am the GML here for the Carolina Garrison.
I would wait until you have a costume to do the "submit a request to join" the paperwork will just sit til your costume's approval pix are done and you are emailing them to me.
First get working on your costume. Post up questions and advice and your progress here on the costume area of the CG forum.

Re: Darth Revan number 2?
I'm waiting on approval for the detachment forum.
On a different note... If I'm wanting to request and appearance, is there anything that you guys could suggest to improve my chances of getting a response? Because I sent in a request and I haven't gotten a reply. Should I just try again? It's been a out two weeks.

Hey Christopher!!!
I got an email that you had ask/posted this:
"This is a lightsaber I found at Nocturne Armory. Price is around $350.
Flagship eclipse said it's acceptable but I wanted to check with you guys.
Comes with any color however I'd be doing red obviously. Made with
aluminum alloy and brass rings."
If you are asking about this one:

it is the normal one most go with. so yes.
notes With the Revan there has been issues of the hilt being link the one in the game and then you see the statues with ones that have more Obi Wan style ..then you have the action figure that as different versions.....(See pic below of sabers)...
The Nocturne one has all the needs for a "on the shelf'' one I have seen. Some do the custom saber shop (buy parts and make their own) http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/mi ... G_2787.jpg
The hilts are different from one licensed product to the other... ( the left hand did not know what the right hand is doing deal). so in short the Revan hilt does not have to be spot on, as long it has the basic styles as you see in one of the licensed product is there like "game/bust/toy" NO custom statues or figs.......
If the costumer is portraying Darth Revan from Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, then two lightsabers are carried. If the lightsabers are bladed, one blade is red, and the other is purple.

then you have which is different hilts

Yes that is the one I was asking about. The nocturne armory. Just to clarify it IS legion approved. I'm using only one and it's red per the costume reference page.
