One thing make sure you are doing it to the 501st today Standards (have changes several times)
I asked which variant of the Stormtrooper you are looking to do? Believe it or not there are 4 basic variants to the Original trilogy Stormtroopers. (no mix and match) the wrong add on and or putting it together wrong can and will set you back.... (not trying to scare you , just wanting you to be top notch and have not issues)
and then there is the Expanded Universe Stormtroopers

Are the thigh pieces supposed to be a perfect match before trimming? Lol my gf is poking fun at me cuz they don't precisely fit. She says my thigh to big
