Hello everyone here at the Carolina Garrosin! A little about me, my name is Marqus. I am currently residing in Fayetteville, NC. 21 years old & married, active duty. I am looking to purchase the ANH Trooper Kit from RS Prop Master. I am a little nervous when it comes to crafting the kit since it's pricey for me. I was wondering if there was anyone in this area that is knowledgable on building the kit. I would be more comfortable working on the kit if I was able to contact someone if I had questions or needed help. I look forward to joining the 501st/Carolina Garrison in the near future. Thank you.

p.s. What kind of knife/scissors are used to cut the ABS material?

Great How To Section

This is the best place to go for research and development. it is The First imperial Stormtrooper detachment. Lots of great info over there.

Rs propmasters, excellent choice in armor my friend. I love mine. Also here is a link to the costume reference library for ANH TK , you also have two choices , Hero and Stunt.

Let us know how we can help. you can email me or personal message. Thomas Gardner , Rogue Trooper, our GML is very handy when it comes to assembly as well.

Good luck !

Hello Jason! I am looking to just get the armor kit that RSProp has to offer. I've emailed RogueTrooper last week and was planning on getting a fully assembled suit from RSProp but he recommended to just stick with it a kit because it was less hassle. I plan on becoming a stunt version.

Marqus , hey bud. Well, like I mentioned in the PM, having RS assemble has its benefits, and also has a few drawbacks. Weigh your options and either way, you'll be in a TK.

Assembly is not too difficult , very fun and highly addictive. We are here to help, and point you in the right direction.

Here are some armor assembly videos, nice to see what all is involved.

Talk soon buddy!

does anyone have an experience with the neck seal that Imperialboots sell? I was about to purchase my boots today but saw they also sell other items such as the neck seal. It is currently $35. If you suggest a different place let me know. Just though to save costs on shipping by getting the boots and seal together. Thank you.

Also, going for Centurion, go for the screen accurate strapping brackets.

Imperial boots are top notch and you will love them I would not look anywhere else....

neckseal I like this: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/1 ... -neckseal/

most neck seal ride up because the dickie/bib is too short the one I link you to is not going to happen...

I'm still looking for some supplies, does anyone know where I can get the S Trimm for the helmet, I know trooperbay sells them but was wondering if anyone reccomends anything else. Also the Mesh that covers the frown inside, along with dark lens and what kind of paint would be good to paint the inside of the helmet.

Pet screen is what I use. I have also see some use black nylon stocking I can give you some for the frown.

Paint for the inside: I use regular flat black Krylon (Flat so you do not get a glare), but some use the black plastidip.

The best thing for the lens is this: http://www.safetyglassesusa.com/3002818 ... oChdvw_wcB

S trim contact Terrell email: ataworks@yahoo.com

Terrell sell the proper S trim and tell him I sent you...

Thank you Tom. I am assuming for the lens I buy two pairs? I sent ATA an email regarding the S Trimm. I will also look for the flat black paint.

After looking at the lens, I think I'll only need one since its 15 inches.

Also was wondering if anyone uses display stand and where to get them for the helmets. I saw this one for $40, a little pricey for a stand. http://resintrooperhelmets.weebly.com/accessories.html
