Hi everyone!
I'm Rebekah and I live in Columbia South Carolina. I can't wait to get started with the 501st! Obviously before I join I need a costume haha. Does anyone have any tips on where to get started for a Mara Jade costume (the black bodysuit)? I have looked at the guide but am having trouble finding what I need! I have reddish hair and green eyes so I have that going for me already. It's my first time doing any sort of costuming so I'm a true newbie. I'm really looking forward to meeting you guys!

Hi Rebekah, Look at the Costume Reference Library (CRL) for the Flagship Eclipse detachment under costuming on the 501st home page.(see link below) There you will find the requirements for the costume. You may want to see if TFE has a forum group to join. Other "Mara Jades" will guide you on you costume build, answer questions, etc. A few others might chime in as well. I belong to the Carolina Garrison, the Imperial Officer Corp, and the Sith Lord Detatchment. There is a universe of knowledge out there...literally.

Try Custom Props on ebay. They are one of the big soft parts vendors for Vader. Not sure about how accurate their Mara Jade stuff is, but there are multiple pieces.
