Location:
Koka Boothe Amphitheater, Cary NC
Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can):
An annual fundraiser for the Wake County SPCA, this year's 3K Walk and Woodstock event was the first time the Carolina Garrison has been invited to team up to help support the homeless pets of Wake County. Despite the threatening weather we had a very successful troop. Highlights were standing at the start line to cheer on walkers, human and K9, and meeting the Attorney General of NC, Roy Cooper. We were joined by David Carta with the inaugural troop with his Mando; thanks Talon Clan. A special shout out to SPCA volunteer Kyle who stepped in to do a first rate job handling photos. We hope to be able to support the Wake County SPCA in the future and help to draw attention to the work they are doing.
