Why I have not posted on the site .

As most of you who know me I always post a comment or reply on the 5o1th page. But alot of things has happen to me since last year. First in January I had to have knee surgery on my left knee, and then my Mother was in the hospital from January 18 to February 27 of 2015 that is the day that she passed away.It was very hard on me because mom and I were so close. I was with her at the hospital almost everyday, except when I had my surgery , I could not be with her. It just was not the same going to see my sister, Rose at the assisted Living home without going to my mom's room that she was in for 1 year. Then in May I had to have finger surgery on my left hand. I have tried to be strong for my family and for my self but it has been very hard. Now I had to have knee surgery again on March 30,2016 on my right knee again for the second time. My first surgery was in 2013 on my right knee. I just want for you guys to understand the reason why I have not been on the forum. I am doing so much better now so I can start back trooping with my 501th family.Thanks for all of the prayers that you guys have prayed for me, I appreciated all of them!!! I just had to let everyone know what was going on. But I am going be alright!!! Thanks, Carolyn Ruffin

You don't know me and I haven't had the chance to meet you. Sorry for your times that life has dealt you. It's good to see the bond you have with family and you have fought through it all even with your loss and surgeries. Good luck on the future and from what I see the 501st is a great support group. I wish you the best in the future and prayers are coming your way.
