(NC) April 30 Haywood County Library-Con (Waynesville)

Post by xapologiesx »

Date:
4/30/2016

Location:
Haywood County Library in Waynesville, NC

Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can):
This was the first year of this ultra mini library con, in fact... it may have been the smallest con I have ever attended! This was a solo troop, but I set up a table and had a fun day. The library did a nice job of hosting a fun event that was mostly geared towards children. It was pretty laid back and fairly quiet, but I had the opportunity to answer several questions about the 501st.

Did this event support a charity? If yes, which charity?:
I collected donations for Make A Wish at the table.

Event Length (Hours):
4 hours

Direct Funds Raised? (Money raised directly by the Carolina Garrison):
$33.65

Carolina Garrison Members in Attendance:
1. Anthony Conte (Scanning Crew) IC-28803

Great work setting up at this event. Is that Jedi Will with you? Great looking table setup too

Any amount raised is great. Good work.
