Re: Boba Fett build
No one has mentioned it, but in one of your first posts, you said you'd be painting the logos instead of using decals. I believe decals are more screen accurate, and if the ones you got with your armor aren't right, you can always find someone selling very accurate ones on thedentedhelmet.com.
That's awesome that you have the flashlight in the right gauntlet. I started to build my ROTJ Fett 6 and a half years ago, and I kinda stopped 3 and a half years ago, when I decided that having it 501st quality was not what I wanted to do with it. I started on a Biker Scout, which from start to finish cost less than upgrading Fett would have. I do check back on thedentedhelmet.com fairly often, and was psyched when they identified that flashlight a couple of years ago, simply based on the indent looking sort of like a button. It's amazing the way they're still figuring out what all the parts were made from.
Also, Ernie's servo-rangefinder is awesome. He has it connected wirelessly to the trigger of his rifle. It's great to watch it rise and fall while the general public wonders how he's controlling it. I am still fighting with my rangefinder. It's either always up (glued or bolt tightened) or it's loose and floppy. I don't know anyone who's been able to have it movable without a servo attached.
Good luck on your build. It's a work of art when you finish and it's a chore to wear it, but so impressive when it's done right.

Re: Boba Fett build
DVH is awesome. I have his resin cast snout on my biker scout. He also shared his decal image so I could make the Biker Scout fish-hook decal to put on my car. He's got at least 3 501st costumes. I have almost a whole page of my trading card binder dedicated to him and his wife.

Re: Boba Fett build
I think it was Lou (DVH) who got me interested in the 501st originally. I bought a Fett chest light display from him and he sent his stormtrooper trading card with it. I had never seen the cards before. That made me want one of me. Now, I always include my trading card when I sell something to another costumer.

Re: Boba Fett build
That's really awesome. I like everything I see about the 501st and local Garrison. I hope I can get mine finished and be a part of it soon.

Oh I was thinking about it when he said Keith. That's my middle name so i figured it might be on the forums. But yes. My Vw is mobile now so 90% focus on Boba.

going through and bagging up in relation so I can focus on one thing at a time. I feel like I go from one piece to another and not completing one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
