Yeah, it was my first costume, started in 2010. I got it looking the way I wanted, but never intended to go 501st with it. When I decided to join 501st, building a scout from scratch was way easier and cheaper than swapping out and finishing everything I'd need to do with Boba. I wear it to some Halloween parties and it's on a mannequin for some events around here. I'll probably have it out again at Atomacon in November.
I like my horse hair braids multi-colored like a realistic wookie. No yellow, white, black braids for me! And there's a few other liberties I took here and there.

Before the Disney purchase, 501st wasn't so restrictive. I got invited to troop because there wasn't a Boba Fett anywhere near here and only a couple of official members around. I always felt guilty walking with a group of 501st members and hearing a fan yell "hey Boba Fett" because I was the only named character. I prefer a faceless, nameless costume now.
