Re: Boba Fett build
wow....painting is looking great. The weathering on the suit is nice too. How much longer until you will be submitting for approval?

Which harness did you end up going with? Just wondering because I am still debating myselfKobo wrote:I'm working on jet pack now. Hope be able to put all assemblies together in a couple weeks.

Re: Boba Fett build
Is a 3D printed harness going to be strong enough? I haven't held a 3D print that didn't feel brittle. I have always taken the printed object and made a mold to recast. That harness looks like it would be much stronger and cheaper to just make from aluminum tube/bar, right? I never got to the jet pack on my build because that suit is hard enough to walk around in without it.
I know a guy here in Charleston who was talking about modding his printer eventually to print iron, actual metal, but I believe he said that is a few years away. He actually was contemplating 2 print heads working at the same time, one plastic and one metal, to print guitar pickups and amp components. Fascinating stuff, but it still sounds prohibitively expensive.
