Description of Event (Please share as much info as you can): Open House
This was a community outreach event from the fire department to invite the community to view their facilities and meet the local firefighters. There was free food, ice cream, and lots of entertainment. There was a jump castle and mechanical shark (think mechanical bull, but shark). They also had demos where kids could use a real firehose to put out fake flames on a wooden house like an old time shooting gallery. They also had a little setup (actually hosted by people I recognized as members of local G.I.Joe costume group) where kids could try out PlayStation VR. A dunk tank was raising money for the fire department as kids tried to dunk firefighters.
