Old Salem historic Museums and Gardens host a free Trick or Treat Night for the children in the community. Candy was given away at the doors of the exhibit buildings and retail stores, on Main Street, in the historic district. Old Salem called on the Carolina Garrison to maintain Order and pose for pictures with the Trick or Treat Crowd. Old Salem goes all out for this event. Over 300 lit pumpkins lined the fencing in the town square. After we got dressed we headed out to our spot to greet the crowd, and a crowd there was. We didn't get final numbers but somewhere between 5,000 and 6,000 children were in attendance. We posed for pictures and kept the crowd happy. This was a very fun event for all involved. After the event we all went out to dinner at Foothills.
