Hey folks, I bought a house down in Pawleys Island South Carolina. I doubt there's any troopers in the low country or Georgetown but what about Myrtle Beach? Any troopers in the Myrtle Beach area? Any troops in the Myrtle Beach area? I don't have access to your Events so I'm asking here out front so I can hook up here or over on the book with locals to stay in the loop. Greatly appreciated.

Yes, I think Tommy Fennel (on staff) is down around the Myrtle Beach area. Maybe one other IIRC. I see Myrtle Beach troops pop up every once-in-a-while!

Hey Troy! We have quite a few active members in Charleston as well. We usually have several events there every month (when there isn't a plague). We have a Christmas parade in Mt. Pleasant (Just north of Charleston) on December 13th if you're interested.

You all don't have squads do you? So no Squad in Charleston to coordinate with (up at Tyranus we split the state into 4 squads for logistics)

I sent a request to your GML. Asking about access. They'll need to get the CO to approve it then I can access the boards for events.

Although I call Tyranus home and live outside Richmond, VA , I'm down in South Carolina most every other weekend/week now and would love to attend a couple events a year. Myrtle Beach was where I came to hunt but Charleston is about an hour south. Our Garrisons have always had positive vibes for each other so I'd like to join up down here time to time and share the love so to speak.

Obviously events are rare these days, but I believe the Mt Pleasant Xmas parade is happening. It's the evening if Dec 13, and it's a parade of lights, so get some LEDs to cover your armor. We're gonna throw together a float with a Tattooine theme, if you have anything to add (dunes, droids, banthas?).

Much thanks however I'm also a Revolutionary War reenactor and will be in Chesapeake VA that day for the Battle of Great Bridge. I'd like to get down that way as more events pop up next year and any that land in Myrtle Beach (my primary focus since my home is closer that way) Well wishes to all.
