Florida Garrison member interested in an upcoming troop

Hi all,

I am not sure of the right place to put this but here seemed right (and it was pretty much the only place I can post.<grin>). I am a member of Squad 7 in FLG but I have friends in the Rock Hill area. They are involved in the Miracle Park stuff and they have requested the 501st to come out. I know that it is in the approval process, and am not trying to subvert that.

My question is, if the event is approved, how do I go about joining up with you all to attend? I would travel up with one of my costumes. (I have a Chewbacca, a Vader, a Gamorrean, or a TD depending on what wouldn't conflict with local garrison members.)

Hello there. I'm not sure the specifics, but feel free to touch base with our CO, Jeremy Pastros, lordvelden on these forums, and for sure he can help with that.

I'm guessing it's a matter of giving you access as a Non-CG 501st member so you can sign up and Chuck Player could help you with that. He's trooperchuck on these forums.

Does anyone know if the Miracle Park event was approved? The organizer told me last night that they hadn't heard from anyone. And I am trying to figure out if I am driving up to SC.

If so, then it's on the boards... but no one has signed up. If that's not it, I'd need more info to look.

Again, I'd ping Chuck Player and ask him to grant you Outside of the Garrison access and you can see the calendar.
