I do snap plates for all the strapping i do not just glue the straps in like they did for the screen used ones...

the issue with that is I can fix a snap at a troop but if the glue pulls out at an event you nothing you can do (game over) and you have to suit down and not troop that event.

For Glues I like

Amazon Goop (all purpose) you can got at Lowes and home Depot.

E6000 "in white" for the some areas that you may see like cover strips etc... Wlamart and Craft store hobby Lobby, Michael's AC Moore .

Snap plate are Ez to make and hold up very very well.

As for the strapping system I like the line 20 snap plates style for all the elastic. The original strapping system has it issues IMHO

You can fake the outside look of bolts on the return edge and not have to worry about the original style system breaking/putting stress on the edges that will crack etc. .....
Tom,

What adhesive do you use for the snap plates on your armor? Would E6000 be sturdy enough for regular trooping?

How about the calves? Are you using the hook system?

I have probably bombarded you enough with questions today, sorry 'bout that :)

Thanks again!
