The dome is glued to the back. Does this gap look okay?

The flight suit after being modified.
I think I need to take it to a local seamstress though and have the legs taken in a little. The elastic also needs to be tighter on the legs.
The neck is a little too tight so I may have that adjusted too. I may replace the top snaps with Velcro for adjustability.

Looks good. How is the rest of the armor coming along? I just finished one for my 7 year old son.

Oddly enough most of the armor already fits like a glove and the slots on the side were precut. I haven't really started on the armor yet though.

The rest of the soft parts came in. What do you all think?
How are the pouches supposed to connect?
There is a tab with Velcro on each pouch and I am assuming I add a piece of Velcro on the inside lower edge of the chest plate to attach them.
Is that correct? I am trying to work towards Lancer and I want to make sure I get it all correct by SWC.
Thanks
Josh

You can attach them to your bund or the inside lower of your chest plate - I do not think there is a preferred method for the pouches
Spacing is most important

My pouches hang from the armor. I recently made a strip of abs to go through them, across the whole chest because I was frustrated that they never hung straight.
I am in Charleston and can probably help with sewing if you don't mind a drive. It's hard to describe what needs to be done to a seamstress!

Looking good. Taylor Seay bought his boots, I believe, from the same place. I made mine, but have had to redo them a couple of times. I learn a little more each time something breaks and I have to repair.
You know you can wear it at DragonCon, approved or not, right? Taylor (tb-11701) and I will be there. We should hang out.
