Always trying to make it easier when you are dealing with getting the right stuff (and not wanting to hope and maybe spend wrong)

Welcome. Im in the strategizing / saving mode myself. As a lover of all things Hoth, Ive got several costumes in mind, tho probably starting with the SnowTrooper. But I just saw the Commandos from Polymer Armory and was blown away.....WOW !!!! I wonder how those would look on shorter people since Im barely 5' 5"

Shorter troopers are always hard to work, but with some modifications and effort, it can become reality. I am short myself , 5'7" or 5'8" on a good day, and I find I have troubles with my helmet sitting too close to my armor . Good luck!

And you can do the RC armor seen guys 5.5 do them (little mod/trim) One of the guys I helped with RC armor, was 5.6 and was a few mods not bad....

I have a quick question. Would these boots be approved for a TIE reserve pilot(Funtasma by Pleaser Men's Halloween Captain-100)? I read the CRL for the TIE Reserve Pilot and they seem like they would pass. My only concern would be the zipper and trying to conceal it.

NO!! does not hit the proper style at all for the 501st German jack boots.
If you are going to do event I will say your foot wear is Paramount to comfort. spend a little on the footwear you feet with thank you!!
BTW What style in boots do you wear, I can look for the best for less that hits the mark for the 501st.

I wear size 13 normal width. I've had a hard time finding any boots that are close to the German Jackboot style in that size.
