Finished the electronics/LED upgrade on the Kylo Ren Black Series Saber, including functional saber clip. Waiting on boots.

Here is a comparison shot with the BS next to a stock Black Series. Yeah, the stock saber is turned on. Still have some work to do, but very happy with how this is turning out. Video coming. I did the work.



After side emitters were sanded, its so bright, the camera can't focus on it!

My Imperial Boots arrived today! I will begin the photography process for submission tomorrow!

I won't be able to do full costume photos until April 10th. I don't have any days off between now and then. Crazy days! I'm so excited to be nearing completion, and I'll have my fingers crossed that I pass the muster of the GML!

I now have 2 modded Black Series Sabers. Both with Tri-Cree LED's, Spark2 Soundboard, removable blades, removable/rechargeable 18650 Li-Ion Cells, and JJ Saber Clip.

My latest iteration of the Kylo Ren Lightsaber has Cree Dark Red LED's, and 4 accent LED's in hilt. One can be a carrying weapon, and the other for the hilt.

My submission photos have begun. I hope to have them in by 4/14, but I'll have to wait for some feedback on Sith Lord Detachment Forums prior to submitting, so it may be the following week. It has been a journey!

For those that haven't noticed, Photobucket has now decided to charge $400.00 per year for 3rd party photo hosting, like on CG and SLD for me. I have changed over to a different hosting service, and updated this and all my important threads on SLD. They tried to steal our money, I did some labor to save money. 400 seems a bit ridiculous. I am using imgur now.
