TK71670 new to Greer... Newly approved

Greetings. I've almost completed my move to the Greer area. I was just very recently approved through Garrison Corellia (WV) as a TK. I'm hoping to meet other members in the area. I grew up in this area (went to school in Woodruff), but the area has changed greatly. Im slowly learning how to use this website, so please bear with me. Welcome Chad!! Im in Greenville, SC. Looking forward to trooping with you ... we got some great events coming up soon.. make sure you check the Garrison events

Great to 'meet' you guys! I've spent a bit of time building my TK and trooped once under temporary approval when Rise Of Skywalker was released. I've squired and helped put up backdrops for a few events... And then COVID hit... Was hoping to go to an event in Camden on the 6th, but will probably miss it (back and forth moving, still). Ill check the events page. Still getting the hang of this. I assume sign up info will be there...

I just realized I dont have permission to view the events page yet... What do I have to do to view it? Also been wondering what the requirements for membership in this garrison are... Correlia just asked that we squire or attend 1 event per year...

Chad,
You should send an email to
lcog@501st.com or
cog@501st.com and let the LCOG know your current unit, and that you want to transfer to the Carolina Garrison. TKID included in the email also helpful.
Then let the LCOG know if the request is because you moved your permanent address or any other reason for changing your garrison.
I'll get your forum access sorted out tomorrow.

Chad, I've added you to a group that will get you access to the events section (and others). Once/If you officially move to the Carolina Garrison I'll move you over to the member group.

Thank you everybody! Came back up to WV to grab my armor and a few more boxes. Hoping to be back in a few days! I'll jump on those emails when I get a chance- hopefully tomorrow! Looking forward to getting back down there and getting organized (job, etc) and re-learning the area (originally from there- over 20 years ago). Hope to meet everybody soon!

Hey Diana! Great to hear from you! Looking forward to trooping in my 'new' (past) home and relearning the area! The whole atmosphere is so much different (friendlier) in the South! Never thought Ild miss it so much, but Im back!
