Name is Ryan and I hail from just outside Charotte. I have been 3D printing for about a year now, and I started 3D modeling my own prints about 3 months ago. I recently challenged myself to level up my skills and started working on a fully modeled Purge Trooper kit from Jedi: Fallen Order. I’m really excited to be working on this project and hopefully I’ll get to troop with you all in the future!
Here’s the most recent render of the helmet progress so far. Still plenty of work to do on the model, but it’s coming along well and I love having total control over the final product.

Very very cool! Welcome and good luck with your build!
Thank you both! I’ll keep you all posted! I’ve made some good progress on the helmet model, working on some final geometry cleanup before moving on to the chest piece.

Just in case you don't know, be sure to check out 501stclonetroopers.com for guidance on measurements, etc. I am sure they have 3D models there or someone can point you to them. Even if you want to use your own I am sure they would be helpful for reference.

Definitely! I have a build thread over there that shows in depth changes I make to the models as I work. There is a guy over there who has extracted the game files which is super helpful.

Welcome! I always wanted to try 3d printing. I will keep an eye on your build.
Yeah I got in to it for Star Wars prop building and it’s been amazing! Looking forward to showing you all my progress.
