Despite the brutal heat of over 100 degrees, the Carolina Garrison (along with a few guests from the Mando Mercs and R2 Builders Club) invaded Joe Riley Park for the annual Star Wars Night with the Charleston Riverdogs minor league baseball team. The crowd was overwhelmed at times as they entered the ballpark. The Garrison had a nice table display featuring 501st propaganda, props, armor pieces and more. We also had a signup sheet for those interested in joining up with the 501st and received quite a few signatures / email addresses. Ronnie Boyd (TI-19538) also threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
