Carolina Garrison

It was pouring down rain in an endless fashion, but that didn't stop the droves of fanboys and fangirls from coming out to the U.S. Cellular Center in downtown Asheville, NC for the 2013 Asheville Comic Expo (ACE). This is the second year of ACE and it seems like this event will only continue to grow. There was a great variety of vendors, artists and, of course... costuming groups. The Carolina Garrison was present with a fantastic table that featured an array of armor, props and legion swag that had a constant flow of fans and event-goers whos curiosity had been peaked. The best part of it all was that we had TEN Carolina Garrison members present to interact with the crowd (there were 2 last year) for some awesome photo opportunities. There were a few new garrison members who trooped for the first time at ACE and we even had some prospective members stop by to get some input on their armor. The 2013 Asheville Comic Expo was a fun event and it was great to see such a strong turnout by the Carolina Garrison!
