This was a mini-expo held in one of my favorite music venues, The Sparrow in North Charleston. Park Circle Comics is basically one guy's internet comic book store. He's gotten a lot of requests to open a physical store in the area and has instead decided to do these yard-sale type events at The Sparrow every couple of months. He had his huge collection of comics set up on one side of the room and tables on the other side for local vendors/artists. There was a suggested donation of $5 at the door which went to a charity called Communities in Schools. I'll try to get a total on the donations. I was near the door for most of my 3 hours there, and almost everyone who came in gave at least $5. They also had a silent auction for donated art, comic books, and giftcards to local businesses, with all of that money going to the charity.

I was the only one who could make it to this, but the guy who organized it seemed really happy I was there. We've been invited to the next one on December 14th. That one's gonna collect donations of unwrapped, unopened toys for Toys For Tots. It'd be nice to see more of you guys there.

Being the only one there, I didn't get many pictures. Sorry.

Going to try my best to be at next one. If it weren't my daughters bday party I would've been there. Sounds like you made an impression by yourself though. The next event sounds great being for Toys 4 Tots. Great job Chris!

It was over $600 in total donations at the door and the silent auction for Communities in Schools. Mostly, that money will go to art supplies for schools in the area.
