Carolina Garrison

The Cary Barnes and Noble near Cary Town Center and the Barnes and Noble in Raleigh in Triangle Town Center both requested return appearances by the Carolina Garrison for Star Wars Reads Day. On October 5th, the CG and members of Blue Ridge Base trooped both locations. We were in Cary from 3:00 to 4:30 pm and Raleigh from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. The staff at each B and N were thrilled with our participation. Many kids were dressed as their favorite SW characters and ready for pics with us. Princess Leia(Sandie) was asked to read a story about two rebel friends, a wookie and a smuggler in Raleigh. It was great to see some old and new faces for these two events! Well done folks!
