I have reached the extent of my skills and knowledge. I am unable to progress on my own. I need the Hads on experience of another TK armor builder. So far I have been denied approval for thing I dont know how to do. Can someone meet with me to finish my stormtrooper armor? I can work on weekends and can travel a bit to get to out of town locations.

I can help Robert, but I'm in Kill Devil Hills. How can we make this work?

I live over in Lexington so I am about 4 hours away, not sure I could be of much use, though I would love to help.

Its a bit of a drive but I can make it to kill devils hill on the 3rd and 4th. It will give me the time I need to set the gas money aside. I can bring all my old and new parts. I think the only parts I'm missing are the Mic tips foe my bucket. I will also comb through my leather scraps for the holster.

This weekend I have a birthday party and azalea festival. An event I walk around in for pics every year. It's also a good stress test on armor.

Cool, I'd be glad to help. Keep me up to date and I will make some time. I need to order some mic tips, if you need I can grap another set for you.

May 4th huh, just let me know bud.

Stress test, as long as Chewbacca isn't throwing you about the carbon freezing chamber, hopefully your armor will hold up.... :D

monday, 3:00 pm est and i just remembered may 3rd and 4th is free comic book day and star wars day. the forth i have no scheduled events. so that Friday night i can drive up and grab a hotel. redbull it on the interstate. how i miss those days.

I can still make the trip. the mic tips would be great. i will reimburse you.
The stress tests are to see how they hold up. they let me know when the velcro and adhesives need replacing.
the events i do locally are for fun and for charities i do around here. but mainly for everyones fun and enjoyment.

Hey Robert. I see issues with your armor.

Here are some of the issues to start out:

How this helps......

I would like to see closer images of the helmet to let you know what may or may not need taking care of...

Please do get on the FISD (whitearmor.net) the best place to find info and how tos on all the TKs.....

This is some of the information i needed to know. as for fixing most of them i will try to get them mostly done on the 4th. (I know, it's Star Wars Day. May the Fourth be with you.)
The fore arm pieces i have been looking into how long they are supposed to be. those are part of my original kit and will be replaced as soon as i have the money.
I'm almost tempted to buy an entire new kit and start from scratch. Any idea what it may cost me?
Both my thighs are overlapped. I haven't wanted to cut any more off until i had a second pair of experienced eyes to go over it. The new belt and strapping and button covers for it are in and waiting to be worked on.
My current belly size has hampered my Ab and chest fitting. my fault. i got lazy with my sit down do nothing job. (exercise in progress)

Time to go tool shopping for some of these parts.

Thanks for the info. I'll take it with me when i go to the Outer banks. I will update what I've done when i get back.

Robert, the info that I have giving you is the type of info that you would get on the FISD (Whitearmor.net) I gave that info about a year ago man!!

Honestly it is hard to hodge podge a TK kit (one leg is different for the other ) the color tones/shades of the white will always be a little off.

To get this to be one shade tone of white , you would need to paint it all. That is not a easy process (I have done it when 99.9 % of the TK kits were made of HIPS and not ABS.

Need to sign up to the FISD whitearmor.net read in here for armor info: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/3 ... his-first/
Contact the makers and see (link above). Prices are some that can change (sales or up swing in plastic prices)

IMHO, start clean with a new kit if you want to be a Original Trilogy TK. If you want, you can then take this and work on it for a DeathTrooper or with removing the AB details, replacing the Sniper knee plate with the TD diamond one (doing the fixes I show above) removing the drop boxes, and adding a paulron, pack and weathering it in the sandtrooper style you can do a TD.

Death Trooper color paint aging or redoing this suit as a Sandtrooper would help cover the different color tones of the white.
