This year's Wonderfest 2014 marked the 2nd time that local educational toy store, WonderWorks, has put on this large FREE family event in Hampton Park. Right in the heart of beautiful Downtown Charleston. The festival takes place the day before the HUGE Cooper River Bridge Run. This year, local Charleston schools teamed up with their fitness programs to allow for kids from elementary - middle school to participate in a mile-long fun run. Wonderfest features a full day of FREE food, jump castles, upcoming toy vendors (giving out free toys), climbing wall, pony rides, Oscar Myer Wiener mobile, kid's yoga, live music, Krispy Kreme tent (giving out free doughnuts...as many as you would like it seemed) and of course, the 501st Legion. The event was from 11am-6pm. I showed up to setup out tent around 9:15am. We had a great attendance and at some points we were swarmed by crowds. I don't have the final attendance from this year, but last year there were 8,000 people who attended.
