The Carolina Garrison was requested to provide security for the Durham Symphony Goes to the Movies Concert. When certain Rebels made their presence known, they were quickly placed into Imperial custody. While there, we were asked to take pictures with attendees and appear in front of the stage for the conclusion of music played from a well known motion picture.

Evan Yang - TK
Fernando daRosa - Darth Vader
Sandie MacLachlan - Juno
Andrew Simansky - TC
Brandon Hurley - Officer
Seth Bosecker- TK
Cheralyn Lambeth - ANH Leia
Chad Pulliam - Obiwan
Jim Epps - TK

A Symphony representative had this to say about our appearance ...

Thank you so much for bringing the Carolina Garrison to yesterday's DSO Goes to the Movies concert. You and your members made the concert experience absolutely priceless!

The DSO Music Director stated ...

Your group added the "thrill factor" to our DSO program yesterday. The outfits are so iconic and dramatic! No one can ever be blase' about seeing them "live". Please thank everyone for the enormous investment of time and dedication you folks always put into this .

This was a lot of fun. Since it was so close to my house my family was there. With 3 TKs it was great to watch my wife trying figure out which one was hers. My 10 year old was able to point me out because he helps with my armor and knows the scuffs on my boots. I was also able to freak out a lady I go to church with. She said it is very intimidating to have a stormtrooper stop you in the hall and "request" that you have your picture taken. :stormtrooper:
