At the crack of dawn on May 3rd, we had the opportunity to do an appearance on WLOS morning news to promote an event at Spellbound Bookshop that was a fundraiser for the POP Project (http://www.thepopproject.org). Here's a little bit more on the POP Project:

Our main focus is to further the cause of literacy and all the wonderful opportunities that it provides. We believe that making books available to everyone enables people to become more involved citizens, better informed, and lead them to living more fulfilled lives, both privately and in public.

Some of our books go to schools and children. Others go to prisons. We feel that persons behind bars can still be valuable assets to a community, and helping prisoners become more literate is an essential step.

The event went really well and it was a great little piece promoting the event. The staff at WLOS was pretty excited about us being there and the camera man was even wearing a Vader shirt! A big thanks to Sean Coughlin (TI-9014) who worked out a lot of the logistics for this event.
