Called into duty by Lord Vader himself, the Carolina Garrison responded to meet the threat of Rebel sympathizers and autism. Accompanying the Dark Lord of the Sith were troopers, ably lead by the stoic officer. Reports that the masses had Rebel ties proved to be correct; several Rebel notables appeared. The Rebel presence attracted the attention of two bounty hunters as well.
The Durham Bulls Athletic Park was host to our participation in the annual SW Night at the Durham Bulls. OUr presence was requested to help draw crowds and to generate more interest in the Charity Auction of the R2-D2 Jerseys. Over $19,000.0 was raised by the auction. Members posed for as many pictures as this trooper can remember since Star Wars in Concert. Lord Vader “force” pushed the first pitch out and subsequently battled Wool E. Bull, severing the insidious Bull’s gloved hoof in the process. Troopers intervened when the Bull’s racers rounded third, and Nuke was escorted off the field by the Empire’s Finest.
The Cantina dance cam revealed that princesses can dance and most troopers can’t.
