The Carolina Garrison & Rebel Legion were able to represent at the 3rd annual Star Wars Reads Day at Barnes and Noble Arboretum in Charlotte, NC. Lord Vader and his wonderful daughter, Princess Leia were able to mingle and take pictures with all the children in attendance. As always, the B&N staff and management were glad to have us there, and will undoubtedly invite us back for more events in the future!

Just saw this. I met Kim over the weekend. She and I were scheduled to host a panel on enhancing your costumes with LEDs and wiring. Thankfully I found some R2 builders who could fill in the gaps in our knowledge. The costume she was wearing was amazing, with tons of EL-wire and LEDs sewn inside a translucent cape. I had no idea she was Rebel Legion though!
