Greetings Imperials!

The Winter Charlotte ComicCon truly was a very very Merry Sithmas. The Emperor was most pleased!

The Carolina Garrison Imperial Elves were in full force at the 14th annual Charlotte Comicon

The Charlotte ComicCon grows each and every time, and has become a true force of family friendly fun with thousands of attendees for a one day Con. It is truly an event that cannot be missed. The Charlotte ComiCon has become a staple with all the nerd needs like: comics, toys and collectables, artist, authors, costuming, costume contest, panels and movies cars, so If you are a true geek, this is the place to be...

The Carolina Garrisons booth truly displayed the wonderment of the season with all the trimmings of Merry Sithmas with Imperial Snowflakes, Imperial Stockings and a Wampa Severed Limb Stocking, Reindeer AT-ATs, Sithmas Tree, Vader Claus Chair, Gifts wrapped in Star Wars paper, even the Jawas had the spirit with the Gonk Droids by being all tinseled up. It was truly Impressive, most Impressive.

Vader Claus was front and center on his red throne clutching his candy cane Lightsaber telling everyone "join me or die" and giving out free force throat hugs to all.

Meanwhile the Emperor had dispatched his best legion of Imperial Elves to check his Sithmas List twice to see if you had been a Rebel this year or Imperial.

The Imperial Elves (David Jordan, Ken Jordan, Patrick DeVoe and Tom Gardner) were asking the Winter Charlotte ComicCon attendees if they were Rebel or Imperial. If you were a Rebel, you got a lump of coal (chocolate candy) and if you were Imperial you got a Merry Sithmas sugar cookie and a thank you for being Imperial.

There were 501 Imperial Sugar Cookies. They were not store bought, but they were baked by Jerry Sienkiewicz and myself, Tom Gardner, (Tom and Jerry). We hyper drove through baking 507 cookies in 4 hours time, but we had to be Imperial taste testers and ate 6 of the cookies just to make sure they were good, wink, wink.  ("real sugar cane" Coca Cola was the driving force behind us that night)

I made special labels for cookie packaging which thanked the ones that were Imperial this year. David and Mandy Jordan and myself sat down and packaged each cookie individually (all 501) in record time (one hour and forty minutes).

Special thanks goes out to all the Carolina Garrison Imperial Elves that were there and helped set up/breakdown and did something to make this event the success that it was. Without you guys, all the planning in the world and coordinating would not have happened.

A very special thanks to Dave Hinson, Rick Fortenberry, Kerri Marks, and all the Charlotte ComicCon Staff for having us, and to all the vendors, artist and attendees that come out to this event.

On top of the Merry Sithmas and all the holiday spirit, the Carolina Garrison was there taking in donations for Make A Wish. We raised $141.26. Every little bit helps. Note it takes an average of $3000 for Make A Wish Children's wish happen. Make A Wish Children are terminally ill that normally have a year to live. So, we would like to thank everyone who made a donation to this very worthy cause.

These are basically just the highlights. If you missed out on the Winter Charlotte ComicCon Carolina Garrisons Merry Sithmas, then the Emperor is most displeased and hopes that you will find yourself there next year.

So, Merry Sithmas to all and have a safe and Happy Holiday!!!

Now on to the some of the images from the Merry Sithmas Event. So strap yourselves in because here is where the true fun begins.

I have to say...I am most pleased with the way you guy's rocked this event. GREAT JOB!!!

The Christmas....i mean....Sithmas setup looks like it was straight from the winter setting of Hoth. I knwo people liked seeing 501st member's dressed as elves and how often can you sit on Vader's lap. So cool. Way to go

Many Thanks Jason!! :D

The con has been growing at Hyperdrive speed and honestly is at the edge of out growing where it is now (need some elbow room) less than two years it was in a very very small one room at another hotel.... now 1000s of attendees with a lot of stuff happening and the con staff is epic... One of my fav events of the year and last year I came up with the Merry Sithmas/Imperial Elves with the Emperors list " are you Rebel or are you Imperial"...., This year I wanted to amp it up with more decor etc.......attendees loooooved the set up and cookies/chocolate coal and all that happened it was truly a Merry Sithmas!!....
