Tie Pilot, Cadet, Reporting

Hello there,
I'm Jak "Jokr" Wages.
I'm a resident near the I-26/385 Y, in South Carolina.
Having originally joined the Jolly Roger Squadron forum group 5 years ago, life and a major drop of income occurred. Well, my kit gathering had to give.
In the last moth or so, I've been able to shift it back into high gear.
I'm getting closer and closer to getting the Reserve Pilot kit together. I have or have in-transit the harder-to-find stuff.
Ultimately, I'm looking to get both a "standard" film pilot kit together and the additional parts for a 181st pilot.
The helmet and "hard" stuff will be ordered once I replenish my finances (if the wife doesn't figure out what I've already spent to get this far ...).
My "kick-start" was getting NVA (East German, not Vietnam) boots I could afford. Oh, and a minor fender bender causing me to redo my themed 09 xB. It was lastly a "Moonshine Runner," but all the "vintage" parts had to come off for the bodyshop.
So, I decided to go with a non-canon Star Wars theme:
7 Cwt (name from a vintage English small van badge) Tie- Commando Weaponized Transport/ 7- Cargo-weaponized
transport-Like with the SR-71. an official mis-passed a T into a &, but it was adopted, rather than corrected.
The idea is a Tie Advanced x1, with the ball altered into a hidden heavy weapons bay (ala A=26K invader, as was trained at the Columbia Airport during WW2), A small cargo are is added behind a side-by-side cockpit just above and behind the top of the ball. That bay holds a 4-6 man squad of SEAL-esque commandos. As an armed and armoured drop ans support ship, it has shields and a hyperdrive, but can hide among ties and tie-bombers.
I have drawings and will mod a larger Action Fleet Tie, if I ever start going to car shows again ...
The rear will have 2/3-3/4 scaled accurately armored and armed storm commandos (I hope some on here will be able to help create the molds for me to use).
I have also made some real-world-use SW/tie pilot stuff for every-day use. Picts will follow, once I get time to take them ...
The long-term plan fr 501st costuming is to be adaptable for whatever is needed, within a Tie context. So, I'm trying to keep it accurate/quality (the FIRST tme) and simple.
I've done living history pirate/early 18th Century mariner/sailor. In that, there are WAY too many captains and not enough sailors. At an event, I was able to shift between a huge range and portray many aspects of pirate-life, as needed- by changing accessories. That was fun, so I want to do the same here.
I look forward to meeting everyone, on here and in the real-world. I would like to participate as a handler until I get TI-approved.
-Jak
Oh, and Jokr is another nickname (besides my pirate "Tartan Jack"), as I am a huge Batman fan and a bit of a nut. I used that with my son on Star Wars Battlefront, as a mispelled ID. I thought it looked "Star Wars-y." . . .
Shiny.
