Special Olympics Polar Plunge 1-24-15 NC

The Fitness Center in Kernersville, NC had their annual Polar Plunge on January 24, 2015. The event was sponsored by the Winston-Salem Police Department to raise money for Special Olympics. $15,100 was raised.

This was a fun troop. My Ewok had a great time too. 9 years old and he definitely has the trooping bug. We got to do a lot different things from escorting the pizza guy to helping to fold towels. I even made a mid-range jump shot in full TK armor. I think the people really enjoyed having us there and I'm excited to hear how well the event did for Special Olympics.
