Hello. My name is james. Been registered here for a while and just now did my user groups thing to post. I finally got my armor in the mail a few weeks ago! As far as assembly goes is trooper bay a good place to follow the build tutorial vids? Also on white armor.net I was reading a post and it mentioned rivets but not size or anything. Anyone know offhand the size? Thanks a bunch! Can't wait to assemble it and troop!

Welcome James , nice to see you here on the forums posting. Questions are always recommended , so let's start with the rivets. For accurate rivets , I believe they are 1/8 inch or 8 mm split rivets that require a bit of tooling to install.

As far as video tutorials, yes those are very handy, but also find methods on FISD and here. Troopers usually love to help troopers.

Again welcome, and please feel free to post progress and any other questions you may have.

Welcome James!

The Trooper Bay vids are OK the issue is that he uses that CA only. CA is not going to hold are a while, Amazing Goop and E6000 are your best glues for armor.

Which TK version are you doing?

If you need help and advice on TKs I will be happy to make sure you are going in the correct ways.

BTW I do have the same used (brass) slip rivets that was used for the ANH/ESB TKs, Lot cheaper.

Cloth Belt
Holster
Thermal D clips
same screen style snaps.
ANH latex hand guards
Metal scope rails

If you want pricing PM me.

You will most likely have to make a trip, but I know most of our TK would be glad to show off their rigs. As far as a TK with build knowledge, you kinda need to ask around. I'd be glad to help if you can make it out this way. Kill Devil Hills, N.C. I know Tom our GML is " the go to guy " for all things costume and starwars related. He is in Lake Wylie , S.C. What about TK Travis? I think he might be closer to you. Not sure. Shoot him a message. I think his name is Rotag on the forums.

Good luck man!
