hello all from north carolina. i must admit, this feels really odd to speak to people that are going to find me normal. i have been doing the stormtrooper persona for some time now, and ramped up in a totally unrelated way with the 501. i actually did not know you existed until recent months. personally i did the stormtrooper thing as a halloween thing as a play off my last name, but more recently it went a bit more serious. what was just a joke persona to keep up the morale in the car group i am in, evolved into starting to buy armor. within the car club i am with, the stormtrooper is widely accepted, and loved. granted it can get a bit draining from time to time. i cannot count the amount of times i have been linked to some reference to my poor aim, or height. i usually take it in stride, as the persona is to rally support for charity events and such that we do.... and that's when i heard about you guys. i was asked if i was with the 501st, and i had to google. it was then i realized why they were confused when i said that i didn't know who you were. of course i stalked your pages for a good while, learning far more about costumes than i knew. you guys really made me step my game up. i am about to complete my first true to screen rotj suit .... well, as best i can. i am sure you guys will find something i overlooked. as of now though, i figured it was time to pop in and say hi, and work on trying to join up with you guys. i will be sending in the full work up, once everything is here and together. until then... keep being awesome guys.

Hello, welcome to the Carolina Garrison. Yes sir, this is the place to get you squared away on Stormtroopers. Of course, The First Imperial Storm Trooper Detachment is excellent for research and development.

NICE on the win!!

Weel if you are wanting to do the ROTJ and want iall to match I would go with the CFO lite kit (the lite stands for without helmet)

busy, busy, and more distractions. sometimes i wish i could go back into the past and stop myself from becoming a car nut. :| i digress. yea, i didn't go the route of the lite kit. i am currently looking at painting the armor to match. i know the troopers armor is an off white, but there is no shortage of thousands of colors of white. i blame canada. snooping around right now hunting for the name of the color i need. honestly... anyone get photographers wanting weird photoshots of you guys ?... i got three right now that is wanting me to pose mowing my grass in armor. then a couple wants to photo arresting me... there is no end to the requests.

Honestly you should be going with CFO kit if you are going to use there helmet.

Their shade of armor is not match easily at ALL. and painting it a headache and a half.

ROTJ style armor is not like any of the makers that ate out there. (i know because I have seen about 99.999999% of all makes in person)

Honestly if you are not going the route of getting CFOs armor to match and you are spending funds to get shading or try to paint and hope it matches and can be approved.

if you take my advice and just buy a whole kit from one of these makers that I link you to below (it will cost you less headaches money time etc...

If you are going the route of ROTJ buy the CFO.

If you want a great ANH Stunt kit (most popular TK)

Anovos is having a deal as well: http://www.anovos.com/collections/the-i ... -pre-order" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and before you buy anything run it buy me so I can make sure you are not buying wrong or over spending... or go in the route that may not be able to get approved.
