Greeting Imperials!

Even though the Weather for the Day was not great for the Charlotte St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the parade was.....

I have to truly thank the ones that did do this because it show s true 501st spirit!

We even had two new Carolina Garrison members do their first troop ever (proud moment)

Even with a few rain drops here and there, the attendees love seeing us and we got the message about the 501st out there

Parade MC to the parade crowd:

Carolina Garrison of the 501st Legion is a Star Wars costuming club that is an international organization that started in 1997 in Columbia, SC, has had over 10,000 members worldwide and is well known for their charitable fund raising work for organizations such as Make A. Wish, St. Judes, Ronald McDonald House and Cancer Society of America and for their and visits to children's hospitals. And is the preferred Star Wars costuming group for Lucas Films which is now owned by Disney. The 501st Legion utilizes the characters from the Imperial Forces and the Darkside of the Force, but our motto is The Bad Guys that do a lot of Good".


Very proud moment to hear that over the PA system......

This was fun a troop. It was great meeting some of the Charlotte folks that I don't get usually get to troop with. I knew it was going to be fun when I couldn't even get out of the hotel without stopping for pictures. That wind sure cut through the armor more than one would imagine! I hope to get there for another troop soon. I've got business in Charleston too so I am going to have to figure out how to get in a troop on one of those trips too.

It was great trooping with you to Seth!

If you are in the Charlotte area for business etc... and have time, we get a bit to eat hang etc
